Max’s consulting operation shows companies how they can improve life-experiences for disabled people in the real world.

Of course, any positive movement in the way people view disabled individuals needs to be accompanied by an improvement in the quality of experience that disabled people have on a daily basis.

Because of this, Max set up Disability Consulting – a company that shows others how they can improve life-experiences for disabled people in the real world.

Its latest project involves the development of a new website that will provide access information across the UK, for wheelchair users and their companions.

The Trekinetic wheelchair at the Science Museum, London

Disability Consulting worked with The Science Museum, with the help of a donor bank, Goldman Sachs, to place these revolutionary chairs in the museum for use by disabled visitors.

The way the chair looks is not only dramatically creating far more positive perceptions of wheelchair users, but is crucially also improving the experience for wheelchair users when they visit.

The intention is now to introduce Trekinetics at various attractions throughout the UK  in time for the Paralympic Games in 2012.
