For the next month or so, all of my blog posts are going to revolve around the Everything is Possible in Life Cycle campaign.
On Thursday, I leave Aberdeen docks to ride a recumbent trike down to London.
Wouldn’t it be great to have a world where people with disabilities are defined by what they can do, rather than what they can’t? Not dis-abled, but rather able – able in different ways.
My ride is an opportunity to change how disabled people are perceived, and to begin to shift the attitudinal obstacles that they find daily.
Above all, it’s a demonstration of what can be done with some ingenuity, persistence, optimism & a positive approach.
I want to communicate this to the public, to as many people along my route as I can – to demonstrate and show that everything for the most part is possible.
